When thyssenkrupp stays at PhilsPlace, mobility meets living

July 24, 2019

Products by thyssenkrupp are at home in almost every major city in the world. And some of the thyssenkrupp employees are at home at PhilsPlace. As an expert in building mobility, movement runs in the company's blood. Employees from all over Austria and large parts of Europe travel to Vienna for meetings and training courses. We are pleased to welcome them here.

How it all began

In October 2018, thyssenkrupp relocated its Austrian headquarters to the 23rd district of Vienna. That's practically around the corner from us: no more than six minutes by car separate the Vienna branch from the PhilsPlace. The location in the immediate neighborhood was also the starting point for today's close cooperation between thyssenkrupp and PhilsPlace.

Vienna calling

thyssenkrupp says: "We get people moving. And we can be taken by their word - both, by the millions of people who are safely transported by thyssenkrupp elevators every day and in every part of the world, and by their own employees. They are invited to Vienna for a variety of events across a wide range of business units. In addition to the central branch in the capital, thyssenkrupp is represented at eight other locations in Austria. Employees travel to Vienna for national strategy meetings, regular exchanges and training initiatives.

In addition to the management teams of the Austrian branches, some of which have a second office in Vienna, employees from the assembly area and new employees come to the headquarters for onboarding, seminars and training events. At their own training center in Vienna, fitters can, for example, learn about elevator models and continue their training. This is intended not only to ensure that work is carried out using state-of-the-art technology, but also in accordance with the highest safety standards.

A promising partnership

There are many reasons why thyssenkrupp employees travel here - but the requirements are always the same: living with the comfort of a home and the amenities of a hotel. thyssenkrupp places great importance on ensuring that its employees feel comfortable on business trips. We have made this our main task at PhilsPlace and are proud to hear that our guests from thyssenkrupp say that we are successful in doing so. They particularly appreciate the following offers:

  • Check-in around the clock
Outside reception hours you can easily check in at our check-in machine.
  • Breakfast at home
Especially on business trips, where one meeting often follows the next one, it is important to start the morning in a healthy way. You can enjoy a Nespresso coffee in your own apartment.
  • Fitness
As a welcome change from long sitting in the office, thyssenkrupp's guests are also particularly happy to take advantage of McFIT's fitness facilities.

Apartment, fitness studio and feel-good kitchen - our partner most appreciates the fact that at PhilsPlace we bring everything together under one roof. What thyssenkrupp also likes about us in terms of the booking process:

  • Our flexibility in organization
In an eventful working day, spontaneous changes can occur. We know that all too well. That's why we try to be as flexible as possible in responding to short-term enquiries or extended stays.

  • Our effectiveness in communication
We think: Communication is the basis of every successful relationship. That is why we make every effort to respond quickly to enquiries.

Lifting each other up

We are delighted to be able to make a contribution to the well-being of thyssenkrupp employees and their success with our full-service apartments. Thank you for the good cooperation! We look forward to many more years of successful partnership to come!
